Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BetDrop (the "Service"), operated by BetDrop ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

BetDrop is an educational sports-betting insights tool. You can ask about any match and it returns data-backed answers — an estimated probability for the outcome, whether the current odds offer value, and which bookmaker is showing the best price — together with explanations and statistics to help you understand the reasoning. The Service is delivered entirely online and is informational and educational in nature.

2. Not gambling & no guarantee of results

BetDrop is not a gambling or betting service. It does not accept wagers, does not involve real-money or virtual-money play, does not pay out winnings, and does not place bets or facilitate access to any gambling operator. It is a research and analysis tool.

Our probabilities and value estimates are model-based opinions and do not guarantee any outcome. Sports results are uncertain, odds move, and you can lose money betting. You are solely responsible for any betting decisions you make and for complying with the laws that apply where you are — betting is restricted or illegal in some places, and age limits apply. Please bet responsibly. If you or someone you know may have a gambling problem, seek professional help.

Your use of BetDrop is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. We do not require, encourage or oblige you to bet or to use the Service with any bookmaker, platform or venue. You alone decide whether, where and how to bet, and you are solely responsible for those decisions and for any consequences that follow — including any financial losses, account restrictions or closures, and compliance with a third party's terms and with the laws that apply to you. The responsibility for using the Service, and any risk that comes with it, rests entirely with you and not with BetDrop.

3. Using BetDrop with bookmakers

BetDrop analyses matches using data and publicly available information and shows you its estimates and the best odds it can find. It does not connect to, access, automate, place bets with, or interfere with any bookmaker, data provider, or their systems in any way. Any bet you place is made by you, directly with an operator of your choice, under that operator's terms.

Some bookmakers restrict or prohibit the use of external tools or third-party assistance in their own terms of service, even when that assistance is purely advisory. Using BetDrop while betting on such a platform may breach that platform's terms and could result in your account there being restricted or closed and your balance or winnings being voided. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any platform you choose to use. We do not access those platforms on your behalf and accept no responsibility for actions an operator takes against your account.

4. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Credits, plans & billing

BetDrop runs on credits — one credit lets you ask one question. New accounts receive a one-time allowance of free credits to try the core features at no cost and without a payment method; this is a single grant per account, not a daily or monthly amount. A paid plan (monthly or annual — see current prices in the app) adds a monthly credit allowance, and you can top up at any time with credit packs, whose credits roll over. Some features and usage may be limited on the free plan.

Paid subscriptions are charged immediately at checkout — there is no free trial — and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Prices may exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds for partial or unused periods.

7. Content & ownership

You retain ownership of the information you enter, such as the questions and context you submit ("Input"). The probabilities, explanations and statistics the Service produces for you ("Output") are made available for your personal use. You are responsible for how you use the Output, and you acknowledge that it is provided for educational purposes and without any guarantee of a particular result.

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process your activity in the Service to operate, secure and improve it, including the analysis engine and its features. We describe how we handle your data in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
• use the Service in any place or manner where doing so is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

9. Third-party providers

The Service relies on third parties to function, including OpenAI (used to generate explanations and analysis), Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service involves processing by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may change pricing with reasonable prior notice for upcoming billing periods.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. BetDrop does not provide gambling, financial, investment, legal or other professional advice; all Output is for informational and educational purposes only, is based on estimates, and you rely on it at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any losses incurred through betting or reliance on the Service, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account cancels your subscription and permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example by email or in-app) before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
